J G 927
I have to announce that I will have to withdraw from the MEBAR 2014. Easter is done, and I haven't flown a single mile yet. Spare time has be virtually non-existent over the Easter break and, given the speed of my chosen steed, there is no way for me to catch up. Apologies for this, maybe next year Easter will be more relaxed. J.
JohnL 13
Best of luck for next year. Nice seeing the Paschal Lamb - my dad volunteered for the Hampshires in WW2, but owing to a mix-up with his papers, served in North Africa and Italy with the "Mutton Lancers". mutley 4,498
Hey John, Thanks for letting us know, there's nothing to stop you flying the route at your leisure. A lot of us pre-fly the route as soon as we get the instruction and then just submit the times when due. Cheers... Joe
brett 2,316
Bummer John, there's always next year. Hope to see you back in the air soon. You can still fly it, when you have time, to take advantage of the beautiful Scottish scenery and Andrew's excellent flight paths.
stu7708 244
Sadly I'm in the same situation as John (with the reasons displayed elsewhere on this forum). But at least I managed to finish the first leg
J G 927
DIY gets in the way for me too. I have fixed one of our showers and two of our loos this holiday. I hate plumbing, skinned knuckles and damp clothing. Ugh!
