1mag1n3 0
Here is an edit i have done in the past hour... Not much done really just added the grass, clouds and edited the FSX pic to make it more real... I tried steves effect of heat ripple, and thought it is as good as i have done previously... Anyway here we go... Obviously i would love some comments, particularly tips and constructive critisism... Thanks :mrhappy:
wisemanp 0
Nice job! Heat is not overdone, clouds good and grass good aswell! I can never seem to find grass that fits... :sadblinky:
1mag1n3 0
I think the grass is just one of those things where the picture you use is not too big or small for the use... For example this pic needed quite a large area of grass, at a gradient similar to that of the angle of the photo... I mean gradient is not a massive problem but i think it does help with regards to the end look of it.. Once you have got the layers sorted, what i do is get the eraser, and erase with the grass brush, from the top layer of the runway and erase the runway instead of painting grass onto the runway... Personally i find that works better! Its all about personal preferance really and playing about till things look right! Thanks alot wiseman :mrhappy:
wisemanp 0
Thanks for your tips. It looks like for my edits to improve much I will need to invest in Photoshop or whatever the latest version is called...
mutley 4,495
Looks great Chris, That jet blast looks good and subtle, not too rippled. The overall effect is excellent. Cheers

1mag1n3 0
Thanks for the comments guys, appreciated  And i think i am slowly getting there with the heat blur thingy! And this edit is to add a "revamped" version of the above... The changes are minimal but they are noticable imo. Take a look anyway Thanks...
