adrians69 159
Hi everyone, I thought I'd share with you my latest scenery, which is FTX Monument Valley with FTX Global, vectors and FS Global 2010 X mesh from Pilot's. (Santa was kind to me this year!) Here we are flying through the rock formations: And here over Monument Valley High School and football pitch, home of the Monument Valley Cougars High School Team I believe (any US members feel free to correct me though!!) ...and finally, a shot of the actual airfield itself: Thanks for viewing!! adrians69 159
Thanks guys! Apart from the mesh, this is all OrbX which in my humble opinion can't be beat.
Captain Coffee 2,030
ORBx is why I have switched back to flying dual screens despite the ever present "Center post" in my face. I love panning around and seeing as much of it as possible. Monument Valley looks stunning. Thanks for sharing.
adrians69 159
When I get a spare room (i.e when the lad moves out!) I will look at getting a multi screen setup. They are great going off the ones I've tried!
mutley 4,498
Did you have a go on mine at the Cosford show, I was flying out of Milford Sound?

jaydor 345
Great shots, but why with all that empty land in abundance did they build a runway almost at the foot of a rock?
adrians69 159
Good question, never thought of that!!
Corsaire31 419
Great shots, but why with all that empty land in abundance did they build a runway almost at the foot of a rock? To make the approach a little more fun ?
mutley 4,498
There is possibly some advantage being close to the rocks so as to break up a relentless crosswind? I am sure they researched it!
donnybalonny 46
Or to create more turbulence when the wind comes from that side. makes for more fun. Nothing like turbulence from a high building or a rock to get you down on the runway if you are approaching a little high.
