brett 2,316
That heads up display looks like a nice addition. I already have the Pilot edition so I guess it's worth it for an extra 10 bucks.
Quickmarch 488
@ Brett. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but the web link mentions $30 to go from Pilot to Pro. Still a pretty good deal.
Kevin Firth 114
Day 1 purchase easily - quick q....does anyone who usually uses an AM use a different one when flying the Q400?
Quickmarch 488
@Kevin. ? AM ? Is that an Access Module? Sorry, I'm not familiar with the acronym. If that is the object in question, then; Yes. The Q400 has a dedicated Configurator which includes a Weight and Balance page.
brett 2,316
@ Brett. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but the web link mentions $30 to go from Pilot to Pro. Still a pretty good deal. Odd, I thought I saw $59.99 for a price, my eyes deceived me and you are right. Thanks for the heads up March. In that case I will have to think on it, more money than I would rather spend for the added options which will not improve my sim experience with it much. Rather save for the next A2A release. Not a bad deal for hard core Dash simmers I guess though, I only take it for a spin occasionally.

Quickmarch 488
Oooohhhh.....Hyperthreaded CPU's....That's way beyond my pay grade.
brett 2,316
You wear a mask when you fly Kevin?
Kevin Firth 114
absolutely - have to, with flying skills like mine I need to keep my face hidden
Lucy.P 168
I purchased the pilot edition some while ago and I am still learning some of the procedure. I have been wondering whether to upgrade to the Pro version. Reading reviews it strikes me that the biggest addition would be shared flightdeck. So not really needing that, do you think it is best to stay with Pilot? I want to ask as I just can't decide.
mutley 4,498
My feeling wold be stick with the version you have now until you have outgrown it?
Lucy.P 168
Just now, mutley said: My feeling wold be stick with the version you have now until you have outgrown it? That's what I have been considering, the pilot version is immersive enough, just didn't want to be missing on anything that would add to it - fantastic aircraft
brett 2,316
I didn't get it yet either, I'm not a fan of the HUD anyway and it's plenty good as it is for my purposes.
