mutley 4,498
Just a walk in the park! The pilot made a superb job, better than a lot of my normal landings!
dodgy-alan 1,587
Hawker /Ratheon HS125-800 by the looks of it, great little aircraft.
brett 2,316
The pilot did an excellent job, can't ask for more than that in a belly landing.
Quickmarch 488
I've seen float planes (non-amphibs) brought in to land beside the runway, on the grass. Zero damage, but, then again, those Edo floats are tough. I wonder if that would be a better option for a belly landing in an expensive jet. Unless the co-efficient of friction is so low that going through the perimiter fence is a possibility.
mutley 4,498
I was thinking the same March, surely the grass would have been a better option? Perhaps there is more chance of getting out of control? but the pilot did well.

hifly 925
If only he'd remembered to put the undercarriage down... But I'm sure we've all done it sometime.
SEATAC 400
BAE125-800A Grass field = greater chance of losing control. Possibility of something catching and flipping the aircraft. Concrete runway = smoother landing as it just slides to a stop.
