gavoon1 19 Posted March 31, 2016 Report Share Posted March 31, 2016 I have to come to a short term conclusion that I should un-install FTXG, in the FTXG PDF it does not show you how to un-install the product.(I know its a good product). mutley 4,498 Posted April 2, 2016 Report Share Posted April 2, 2016 Click on the image I posted previously and it will enlarge. The back up, backs up your Scenery\Word\Texture folder to a place specified by you. You would normally copy those files back to the Scenery\Word\Texture folder and overwrite the existing files. Please note, if you didn't take the option to back up this folder when you installed FTX Global then you are stuck with the Orbx textures until you re-install FSX Link to post Share on other sites

gavoon1 19 Posted April 2, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 2, 2016 Un-installation was succesful now I have more lights in FSX which was the reason I re-installed in the first place. Hoewever I noticed when I have been testing it out that when I move the autogene up or down form dense to very dense there is NO difference. Does this mean it is an issue with FSX?FSX CFG??? Ideas? gavoon1 19 Posted April 3, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2016 Hi, I had this issue when I first purchased FTXG.(Few lights) And on the ORBX forum they told me to just move my autogene settings up increasing lights in FSX SE. Hoewever now when I move the autogene slider within FSX there is not difference.( still very few night lights in any big city). can you post a picture ( the tree density) and I sorry If i was wrong.. A couple of pictures... Dusk and dawn however few lights.... feel free to look through all posted images. NOTE ONLY STREET LIGHTS! In my sim, lights come on in several stages...first, the glow on the streets everywhere (looks weird, not sure why "reflective light" comes on before the lights themselves...derp?), then main highway lights. Then after the sunsets completely, smaller lights come on like the filler stuff in neighborhoods over all the "glow" that came on first. You pictures in the link aren't far off from what I see in my sim at dawn and dusk. The picture posted above your images link looks like what I see after Full Night occurs. cheers. Some cities it looks better ( usually the ones with more roads ) But something is not right. The picture you see looks more wht it should look like, however the second doesnt. Is this something I just gonna have to live with. ( first world problem ) Or could it even be a light/autogene issue... I just kinda upsets me cause I paid $100 for the product.
