mutley 4,498
Wow! I remember spotting these at Heathrow more years ago than I care to remember. Sadly reminds me of the recent Russian tragedy with the Tu -154 however
J G 927
A truly great aircraft. I to remember these at Heathrow, back in the day where you could stand on the terminal roof and look down on the aircraft.
Lucy.P 168
I visited Manchester airport for the first time last week and saw this plane. I just love the cockpit photo, I am well into the older knob and switch stuff. I was slightly surprised to see a Nimrod MR2 parked next to the Trident, just didn't expect to see a military plane there, I suppose.
Captain Coffee 2,030
Just wondering...does anyone know if the grips on the Yokes are angle adjustable? I don't think I'd like flying a plane with Motorcycle style handlebar grips.
brett 2,316
It's a beautiful aircraft and the cockpit is very well laid out, a real winner in my book. Thanks for the look Phil. The motorcycle style yoke is odd but if they let the pilots wear leather jackets I would give it a whorl, maybe even open the window a crack to get some wind in my hair.
