mutley 4,498
I was feeling a bit "odd" this morning after plenty of red wine last night. Not sure why I felt the urge to do an edit but here you are. I think I used nearly every filter in Photoshop  Click on image to see original. Cheers
hello_basil 0
Wow Mutley, the land is so realistic! But, a note of constructive criticism - the Spitfire itself appears to be under exposed? :-)
mutley 4,498
Thanks Theo, That was my first thought and to be honest I did try to brighten it up a little but I couldn't get it to look right. I came to a point and said that's it, no more! I may do another soon. The land is Just Flights VFR Real Scenery. Cheers, Joe

hello_basil 0
I'm just curious too, with settings like that - what FPS do you get?
JoeEllwood 0
Lovely edit Mut - hope she gets home in one piece!
allardjd 1,853
It looks very much like natural lighting to me. The sun is low at his 7 or 8 o'clock and the whole starboard side is in shadow. The top of the left wing is well lighted as it would be. The ground still has good lighting, though if there were any trees visible, they'd be casting long shadows. Looks great from this side of the ocean, Mut. I think you nailed it. :good I presume he got the guy who did this to him before setting out for home? John
mutley 4,498
Thanks for the comments Chaps. Dai, I use the Generation X too, I just testing this for Just Flight, if you look at the original you can see that it is quite dull  I did get the guy who did this, well his aircraft, he made it safely down and yet we got back safely but the engine was a write-off. Theo, I don't know what the FPS were as the sim was running smoothly so I had no need to check. Usually it's in the high twenties or thirties. (And my machine spec is the same as last time you asked  ) John, I agree the lighting would not be too dissimilar to what we have here given the position of the light source.
