For your viewing pleasure (my 2nd batch)

Recommended Posts

Greetings all,

I posted my first ever batch of screenshots @4 days ago and many people seemed to have enjoyed them. So for your viewing pleasure here is my 2nd batch of shots showing my newly aquired super pro 80, REX and several free/payware sceneries. I really hope you enjoy them as much as I did in making them.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I am glad my screenshots are a pleasure to view to others as they are to me.

:good:

Amazing shots!

That's how FSX should look...

What do you think of the SP80?

I presume you must be Sam. from the other forum  . But will reply to both, just incase.

I love the super pro 80. It a great plane but even better software package. IMO what makes the super pro 80 such an outstanding payware aircraft is the embedded menu/option & help system. Most of the other payware aircrafts use either outside programs (alt-tab = pain in backside) or the ALT menu under Add-On menu, which again, interupts your flying. But the super 80 menu system is just so easy and you can use it while you fly. And its buildin help/tutorial system is great and easy to use too. I highly recommend this aircraft to anyone that enjoys flying jets. :yess:

Those are just amazing!

What set-up are you running?

My PC Specs: Main Rig, OCUK Intel Sugo Overclocked System, CPU E8600 OCed 4GHZ, 4GB DDR2 OCed RAM, 500GB Seagate HD, 4870x2 ATI GFX card. Second Rig, Dell Dimension 9200, upgraded with Zotac 8800 GTS. TBH I got the best results from FSX from tweaking the settings/cfg files/little mod programs etc, to get the best result, the 4Ghz helps but tweaking till you like it help alot.

In the past week I finally managed to put the final touches on my homebuild FSX setup. It has been @2 years planning and budgeting, started to really come together in the past @6 months. I just took a picture of the setup in FSX mode, as I move the desk when I need to do some proper work. (this setup has also been inspired through others who posted and shared their homebuild FS project, so my thanks goes to all of them)

Cracking screenshots! Especially the ones over the Canyon :thum:

A lovely system you got there :good: Are you satisfied with your aTi 4870x2?

Thank you for your praise, and yes, I am happy with my 4870x2. However, I did purchase it for the reason to also use it for other things then just FSX. From what I know, ATI is very bad at handling large amount of weather in FSX whereas NViDIA cards tend to be better at that. So if I did FSX purely, which I tend to anyways nowadays, I would have gone with a NViDIA card.
