The red barron 41
:hi: and welcome to Leg 45 of the Atwc! So here we go with leg 45. TRB style! With a twist at the end in the form of a mayday. As the challenge needs to flow I have to post now or I can't do it for two weeks! so Blame my school and partly Needles as he wants this done NOW! so Leg 1 Suriname to SMJP here is our beach king loading at Suriname taxi over to the runway line up! shortly followed with gear up As the plane banks away from the airport. as we turn on to course BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ says the engine as we cruise there is the runway so put the gear down Boris (co_pilot the other one for leg 40 was Bill) And photo bucket dies! Ahhhhh there it is back to normal now and on a short final :nea: a bit low! 10 shouts the alarm (that's in my head) And were down! what a relief. Just vacating the runway As the pax get off C&D so just after 10 minuets flight time leg 1 is done so on to Natal! Now then leg 2 SMJP in a MD-80 Scandinavian! here is the link to the plane that was used http://simviation.com/simviation/static.php?ID=60&page=22 she is free ware so give her a go! don't know what she is like until you try the plane. loading the pax push back with engine one starting Not a bad VC for a freebie! now then :baton: Well hopeful it's in the Front galley somewhere taxi out to the active rotate! Gear up climbing away ND confirms that we are on course. The vast Amazon in the cruise Some flight info You are here! still going come on! Top down says we are almost there! map says we shuold be landing soon Next way point Top of decent in the thick of the decent all is good though being vectored in to 34R visual today. waiting for the runway vector gear and Flaps down Nigel (the co-pilot) Hoo Yarrr were down! we have to turn round when suddenly . . . . . . . . . . Oh dear the fuel reads 0! AND WE HAVE STOPPED ON THE ACTIVE! Just don't tell the boss Oh well 2 coaches and a tug later we park at the gate. 3 hours and 20 mins later we are finished So after 3 hours and 30 minuets this leg 45 is over :shok: I had to post this now or leg 45 would not be up for 2 or maybe 3 weeks later Sorry Joe but this is how it turned out Onto you now Hurricane. The batton is with the bar man or is it?!? yeah it is hmmmmmmmmm I can't remember! C&C as ever TRB out

stu7708 244
Loved the MD80, downloading as I type this. Hopefully I will have time to get a test flight of it in to my schedule tonight... SAS uses them for some of their ESSA - ESGG flights, so that should be a good trip to try it out :atwc:
