CaptHill 0
Guys can you help me out! In the airbus A320 from Wilco I have a red/magenta TO Inhibit on the display. How do I get rid of it? Do I even have to? CaptHill
colwah 0
Hi Capt, In the 2d cockpit, the right hand screen with the engine indicators on will show on the bottom a Take Off checklist when you start to taxi. It will be things like Autobrakes, flaps etc. You must satisfy the list to show everything green eg that you have set the a/c up correctly. Then on the throttle quadrant there will be a red TO Config button, press this and from what I remember there is an a voice that says "Take Off Config OK". If it doesn't the TO inhibit should dissapear. Hope this helps Colwah
CaptHill 0
Thanks for your help! I think it seems to be working fine. I get no warnings or anythin on takeoff....even if takeoff inhibit remains on the screen. I hit TO config button and it says takeoff ok....so all seems fine. I cant think what else would actually remove the To Inhibit from the screen if the takeoff is set up correctly CaptHill
stu7708 244
I actually have the exact same thing happening in my A400M from Wilco. Looks like a common bug in that panel...
twright 0
Hi, This isn't a bug. The real aircraft shows the message "TO INHIBIT" on the upper ECAM during take off too. It simply means that the ECAM is inhibited from showing any unimportant warning/status messages during the takeoff run that may distract the pilots. Regards, Tom
allardjd 1,853
So if Airbus did it, it's not a bug... I wonder if they did it intentionally. John
wisemanp 0
I've always wondered what it meant! Maybe I should have read the manual better...
