Thanks for the alloted legs Mutley - Leg 72 (Mauritius -> Madagascar) and Leg 82 (Tenerife ->Madeira)

These two were high on my priority list so its a pleasure to have been alloted them, so thanks guys. The Tenerife leg especially should be some fun, never actually having tried an approach into Funchal, i'm sure it'll be an experience.

I've already flown Leg 72 (Mauritius -> Madagascar) - can i just say that it was an extremely enjoyable flight beyond my expectations, and was all topped off by a fantastic aircraft and some extremely nice scenery to boot!! - So, having done the flight and being ready to post, I am now waiting for Reef (Steve) to post so that the timer can start for me! Don't rush it though Steve, there's really no need as I'm sure you'll blow us away with whatever you post!

Has anyone flown the Antonov AN-124 in the ATWC??

i think i might have, the AN124 is one of my more used aircraft... i think i should have a hangar devoted to Eastern Bloc aircraft like the Antonovs and Tupolevs, i've tonnes of them!

edit: i'll take that back i think. just checked here and found that the only russian bird i've flown in AWTC was the TU144.... i need a talking too considering the huge amount of Russian, Ukrainian and Eastern Bloc aircraft i've got in my hangar!

I seem to remember Simi in the original Adventure Africa the Russian aircraft didn't prove too reliable

er.. yes.. well *ahem* the less said about that the better. I've since fired the maintenance team who... come to think of it, i didnt have a maintenance team!!

They are quite good the AN-124s, used to see them at EGNX. Saw one take off and :wow: it was loud!!!!

Hurricane, i live not 20 minutes from EGNX and every spare minute i have is spent down there on a nearby bank with my camera and tripod or with the team at the aeropark discussing the weeks latest gossip!
