IcedUpPitotTube 0
Hey everyone, I was just wondering what is the best res to post on this forum? I know it will resize it automatically, but what res is the best (meaning it won't be too long, or too squareish, or too wide, etc. etc.). I welcome all replies, and if you could give a screenshot demonstrating your opinion, it would be great (any screenshot, doesn't have to even be in FSX, but preferably there). stu7708 244
In my view that's an impossible question to answer since the end result always is down to what resolution the user has on his computer.
Aidan 1
The forums resize it anyway.
mutley 4,498
I also depends on whether you have a wide screen or not, I prefer the wide screen rather than a square shot. Just see my shots generally they are a 16:9 ratio. Cheers Joe
GabethePilot 1
I always use 1200 pixels wide. If I am cropping, I simply resize the cropped image using Compupic and "resize while retaining aspect ratio". This maintains each image the same width, but the height will clearly vary. This is because I - and probably many others - use their laptops to surf the net. Most, probably (?) have 15" screens, so 1200 is ideal, with little need for scrolling. You only need to scroll once to the right, and once lined up, you can then scrol down the page in the normal fashion and all the images are nicely lined up and pretty much fill the screen. If I include a link to Photobucket, I will always upload the full 1680 (x1050) size, so people can then look at the full image.
