That is one sexy airplane... looks about as good as the Lancair. Mind sharing your REX specs/setup? :th_smiles73:

He isn't using REX. The Avanti isn't as sexy as the Lancair :P IMHO. Great Shots btw.

Ace is correct. That is the default FSX weather and lighting effects.

I see you around Mount Vesuvius and I'm sure I saw you flying around while smoking a cigarette on my terrace in Naples.

Lovely aircraft. I often see her landing in LIRN, as I'm exactly on the localizer of runway 06 (Italy's Prime Minister Berlusconi :gaah: often comes in Naples on a P180). That aircraft carries a Ferrari engine, and has a very distinctive "noise". :unclemartin:

Nice shots!!! :great:

The P-180 does make a very distinctive noise. It results from the 5-bladed props passing very close behind the two exhaust stacks on each engine. I'm told that this produces a "square-wave sound" as opposed to the sine-wave noise produced by most engines. The P-180's sound has what I'd describe as a "buzz" to it and is unlike anything else I've heard. When I hear one there's no doubt what it is.
