Leg 62- Asuncion SGAS - La Paz(JFK) SLLP

Well as Chris has technical difficulties, yet the baton was safely in Asuncion, I pressed on with the challenge. This flight took me to La Paz John F Kennedy, formerly known as 'El Alto'. Enjoy the flight

The aircraft for today-the TAM Fokker 100, waiting for clearance.

On the taxiway with a departing 737. It's hurrendous weather here in Paraguay.

I'm not sure whether South Americans say 'Position and hold' or 'Line up and wait', but that's what we're doing!

Throttles gradually increased as we start our roll

*JOKE* This was an 'empty stock working' as it is called on the railways, just transferring the aircraft

In cruise, pilot entertaining himself at the moment

It might be a bit older than most I fly, but it still has speed!

This is the view from the nose camera, that the passengers might be getting of there were any of them!

I like the lines on this, they're smooth...

...I did enjoy Phil! Super shots again and the F100 is a real class aircraft.

The speedy shot in the middle was excellent.

Careful, Phil. That stuff will go right to your head at that altitude.

Great flight, beautiful shots. Enjoyed it. Should have taken a shot of the altimeter after landing. I think that's one of

those chosen few airports whose elevation is larger than the runway length - and it's a long runway.

It's probably the same evry day in that climate anyway! Hot and sunny in the morning, hot and rainy in the afternoon!
