mutley 4,487
Hi Gang I have just finished and published my review of Heathrow 2008 by Aerosoft/Simwings. It is a great piece of software, initially for FS2004 but with a free FSX update soon. You can find it here - http://www.mutleyshangar.com/features/m ... hr2008.htm Cheers

allardjd 1,853
Mr. Mutley, sir, That's one great review. I like it. It appears their software is very well done. Some of the attention to detal items are impressive in the screenshots. I note the oil stains marking the parking spots at the gates, and a lighter version, but still visible on the primary taxi paths to and from the gates. They are smudgy and indefinite enough that they look real. If they got things like that right, then the big ticket items are most likely in excellent shape. The writing is very good too. Well described, but not too long. The pop-open images are a nice touch and well behaved. To use a local expression, you dun' good. John

reef 3
Great review Joe and looks impressive. I've been using AES for quite some time now and recomend it to everyone to try, even if only on the excellent freeware Salzburg or Boston as AES is free at these local as well as some of the ISD (italy) freeware. One thing i don't think you mentioned, are winter textures included ? Thanks for taking the time to write this... steve
