Quickmarch 488
Looks like someone made a little airplane out of a big airplane. Ingenious landing gear though.
Quickmarch 488
So I got interested. Anyone else? See: http://www.airbum.com/pireps/PirepQuestairVenture.html for a pilot report. For an aging M20 driver this is some kind of airplane.
brett 2,315
Thanks for the read March, odd looker but fast, weirdest yoke I have ever seen.
Quickmarch 488
I think that would be real cool to fly with that yoke. Looks a bit like the stick shift in a Deux Cheveux (Citroen 2CV - ask Britfrog). Interesting that they use almost the same designation as the old Mooney (M-20 vs M20). Fast? No question. Andrew Godden 943
Looks a bit like the rare Douglas DC-5 with a V tail (a dead giveaway on design)...but is, in fact, the Beechcraft Model 34 'Twin Quad'. It only reached the prototype stage with one built. Cheers Andrew
