Things have slowed down.  I already know Alan has picked it, but I continue to muzzle him to give others a go.

 

So, some tantalising clues.

 

You could have watched this since 1775, but that hand will only point to a name.  From there, you would have to "go west young man" to be in the right place.  Though, if you went northeast you would find the same nomenclature on a current production type.

The manufacturer of this aircraft shares a name with a watch manufacturer, though they are different companies.  The current production aircraft which shares it's nomenclature with this aircraft is manufactured in the Czech Republic.
