Not sure if this is a well known aircraft or a hard one so I'll start with a sectional image. This started as a passenger plane and was later retrofitted for the war effort.

No, but it is European. I would like to explain myself a little better too about my first clue. It was originally designed for passenger aircraft during it's project phase but was converted into a bomber instead when the country decided to use DC2's as their passenger aircraft instead.
