brett 2,310
Sorry folks, asleep at the wheel. Not sure if this is a well known aircraft or a hard one so I'll start with a sectional image. This started as a passenger plane and was later retrofitted for the war effort.
dodgy-alan 1,587
Looks vaguely like a Martin B10 but not sure..............yet!

dodgy-alan 1,587
Is it French?
brett 2,310
No, but it is European. I would like to explain myself a little better too about my first clue. It was originally designed for passenger aircraft during it's project phase but was converted into a bomber instead when the country decided to use DC2's as their passenger aircraft instead. GHAO 0
Wasn't it the Belgians that used DC2s? EDIT: no mention on Wikipedia of two-engine Belgian planes... Looking at Italy now then... Savioa Marchetti S.72?
Andrew Godden 943
The DC-2 saw service in many European countries, including Poland - where the LWS-6 Żubr came from.

rosariomanzo 545
Not a Hawker Tempest. Some clues: 1) British design 2) it's a prototype and has never been produced 3) something particular about the propeller 4) Eject! Eject!
