I think that looks bout right, I put cargo size a bit smaller so I can do 2 or 3 jobs in one flight, perform 4 flights and its 12 jobs complete. Also because I only do short jobs flights are quick!

Depends on settings really I think but I wouldn't get caught up in it all really just concentrate on the money and enjoying the flying bud.

I have not seen much (or any) difference in the jobs etc just bcuz my rep is big.

Big profits I'm not too sure about as one job could get me say 250k? Is that big?

Oh so I'm gud then with around 200k per job but this is only because my C-17 has a big ass and can haul around 50k using AI

I can haul 260k lbs worth with 200nm worth of fuel - this means if a £200k job of 50k lbs cargo then I can do 5 jobs at same time. So for about an hour and half worth of flying cab earn me 1 million at least.

Does get risky tho as just 10% of damage can cost around 6 million to fix with cash. But if you don't crash or damage you can get quids in :)

My AI don't fly my C-17 just for that reason

Wow, those are some big numbers. I am only on jobs somewhere between 400 and 1200 lbs with paychecks somewhere between 2500 and 11000 Dollars. Luckily because of my small airplanes damages are low too. I have to admit that up until now, I only had one rough landing costing me about 1900 and two instrument failures costing me a little over 5000 total.

Big planes carry big risks, that's for sure. I don't think I will ever own a C-17. Hawaii just isn't big enough and I don't think it is efficient enough for the big hops to the continents...

Respectfully,

Menno

Latest Update:

I have had the two workers working their socks off day and night trying to earn enough money to pay out the C-17 lease. All is going good a few hiccups on the way with Sophie and Cody completing jobs and cashing in; some jobs have been partially completed due to technical difficulties within the old DC6 birds.

The planes are great and flying well but require regular maintenance due to their age. I am constantly having complaints from Cody asking why he cannot use the C-17; but don't forget the last time he used it - he caused enough damage to the plane to almost finish the company. So I 'politely' told him to GET STUFFED!

He understood and is holding on to the hope that once the C-17 is paid off there may be chance for a quick sale of DC6 and a bought in 737 or something nice and big - and reliable! Little does he know I am a tight a*** and will want to save a while before commiting to something big again.

I have been on a flying course with the 737 NGX and really learning the ropes on the sweet girl, so no flying for me as I have been situated in England, UK for almost a week now. No plans to go back any time soon unless something urgent crops up. I can manage the company from abroad no trouble - it may have a knock on affect to my reputation but once I am back a bit of sweet talking will sure be on the cards to get back my rep.

All in all; the camp is good and on track for the buyout.

Current cash: £48,562,816

Buyout price: £104 million

Big numbers...way to go Jim. :thum: What Cody doesn't know won't hurt him, although he probably suspects because of the way you can eat a dime but only pinch out a penny. :P:D

CEO = Unpredictable!

The CEO announced today that he may be thinking of scaling down the company and selling the trusty C-17 - replacing it with a 737-900 NGX. There are enough funds for the 737 currently in the bank so the monthly overheads would be less. The DC6 planes will still be used by Cody and Sophy but the 737 will be exclusive to Jim CEO.

Talks have been made to expand the limits to further away - causing longer flights but nothing has been confirmed yet.

All this is pie in the sky but we did spot some pictures of a tired looking used 737-900 at KPAE base today...

Beautiful airplane, but it could sure use a bucket of water and soap :)

Personally I think it would be a good idea to go for the 737, because it is probably easier to fly and is more economical than that big military bird. A lot faster too I imagine!

I think the J.A.D. livery would look great on the 737 :)

Thanks, the C17 is actually a joy for AH apart from fuel burn - it drinks lots!

You can start the C17 in about 5mins with GPS being its main navigation aid takes 2mins to program and your flying. The 737 is more in depth and takes longer, carries less but its cheaper and fuel economy is better!

I'm going to put a JAD livery on it but going to keep the dirt as I want it to look used :) Still not decided if I'm going for it yet tho.

Few more landings first before I commit. I have until end of month to make decision bcuz my C17 lease is due then.

Very nice! :)

Don't forget the black rings around the engine nacelles like on your C-17. That's one of the best parts of the paint job in my humble opinion ^_^

More to come mate! It's only the start as I ran out of time tonight. Don't worry those engine nacelles are getin painted soon :)

Update

The CEO Jim has been caught with sickness and hospitalised over night on a drip - luckily he made a speedy recovery before Cody ran the company into the ground.

So lets start off with the BIG sale - the C17 has gone and raised a good chunk of revenue for JAD - as a result of this the two DC6 AC that the hired help use have now been purchased and as an additional bonus (as expected) the 737-900 has been purchased too exclusively for Jim CEO as usual he keep all the good planes for himself.

Unfortunately we was not able to get an interview with Jim today; as soon as he returned to KPAE base he jumped in his private jet the Pilatus PC-12 and went to Swanson to visit friends (Mutley from Mutley Hangar has been knocking about up there) - after a short while Jim was back at base and jumped straight into the 737 for the longest contract he has ever flown out of KPAE - this was to KCLS Chehalis (80nm) - delivering high quality perfume and extremely fragile he felt the 340k contract was worth it so soon after being hospitalised. Luckily for Jim he managed to complete this job successfully landing a greaser at KCLS that has no ILS so it was purely manual. This was a first for Jim but handled the challenge well delivering it in perfect condition.

Here is a shot from the 737...
