  2. Joe you are dealing with the original Ebeneezer W Scrooge here , i just traded in my cats whisker radio, so anything more than five pounds makes me go pale at the thought of releasing all those most carefully imprisoned moths in my wallet. I even tried temporarily wafting naptha balls near it to make them sleep but to no avail, I have had to leave my wallet in out-patients where it is getting a blood transfusion. Having done lots of research on the net , i do use Amazon quite a lot due to my location for a reliable service, and good prices and warrantee, however I found the monitor at my loc

  3. Well I got EGJJ and have to say I'm pleased, it's very good. Never having been to Jersey I cannot vouch for its authenticity but it has the usual UK2000 features. Static ac; airliners and GA, there's a Tiger Moth and a Herc parked there amongst others. Animated AI vehicles (whose drivers don't give way to ac). As I mentioned earlier, I prefer UK2000 airports over others for their ease of installation, clear instructions, static AI ac, good fps, (I was getting 24fps from the cockpit of CaptSims 737-200 with the nose right up to the terminal). But the real deal clincher for me is that the ai

  6. Thanks for the tip about fsim.com. I was alarmed to see that AVSIM has a Wall of Shame Topic. This is dedicated to "basically the bad guys in our hobby". I think this stinks. Who is to decide what is right or wrong in FS and therefore who is to decide who is a "bad guy" I found this to be a very subjective and judgmental Topic. It amounts to Cyber bullying. That's not good under any guise. Angry of Guildford.

  7. WHAT!!!! No shag carpeting? They did some job on it, that is one beautiful restoration job. Must have been a little noisy in the pax compartment, no? The pilots did some job back then flying around with only a compass and a map, all exposed to the weather too. Turn east at the railway crossing and fly toward the tallest peak on the first mountain range, then turn north...........

  13. Third and final entry for me. Hover practicing around the Seattle area. A crane operator snapped this shot of me using a container ship for "tight area" practice. I am awaiting notice that my heli license is being revoked once he turns this shot over to the FAA. btw...you can't land on those containers unfortunately...Your craft just sinks through them. Hardest part of capturing this shot was finding an angle that didn't leave walkway pieces ending abruptly in mid air, yet still find a spot that looked like someone took a legit photo of me losing my heli-license.
