Hi Panagiotis, That's a great start, I must admit when I see those three letters F M C - I tend to switch off as I am more of a GA pilot. Sorry I cannot comment on it's accuracy but I know you are an experienced virtual pilot so it must be right? Weel done and keep us up to date with it's progress :mrhappy: Cheers

Press Release - Boxwings Air Freight
mutley replied to allardjd's topic in Mutley's Hangar News and Announcements
Congratulations on our new purchase Mr VP Sir Why, you must have a darn good aircraft painter there sir! Cheers Mut (Gen Mgr Boxwings Europe) -
Hi Martyn, Thanks for pointing that out it is very relevant and so people with high end machines shouldn't think they will achieve that fluidity. I guess they are building for future technology. I wonder if they have one of those 8 core processors to test it out like Microsoft have at the moment :mrhappy: Cheers

 :mrhappy: :rofl More than likely John but back then the Hun wasn't exactly renowned for their humour! (Unlike you!) Cheers

I agree there's nothing like a bit of FS to lift the spirits! I like your signature banner Phil

You may want to look this video http://www.horizonsimulation.info/Downl ... ressed.wmv to get an idea what is on the horizon (so to speak!), also some words from the developer Carl Edwards here http://forum.horizonsimulation.com/view ... 3043#13043 Very detailed times ahead for GA flyers! Cheers

I recognise that 109 front end! More splendid pics Simi, you must get Man Flu more often! Cheers

Thanks for the link Simi, an intriguing aircraft, I'm sure I had a bad dream about this a week ago! Looking at your shots I assume it hovers too, I suppose this was the answer to short field landing regional transport? Thanks for posting. Cheers

Hi Dai, This comes standard with Just Flight's Flying Club for FS9, it's the night lighting for the Shoreham scenery  I wouldn't imagine I am too welcome on the Horizon forums at the moment after my comments the other day :mrhappy: Cheers

As mentioned in my reply to Simi, I was flying the Schmittfire list night from Aeroplane Heaven. [From AH] The unusual hybrid aircraft that used a DB 605A-1 engine ( as found in the Messerchmitt BF 109 ) and the main airframe of a MK Vb Supermarine Spitfire. In late 1942 the MKVb aircraft crash landed in Jersey (Channel Islands ) and the aircraft was taken to a testing area within Germany. A suggestion was made that it should be fitted with a Daimler-Benz engine to more adequately gauge the performance against the BF-109, at this point that the Aircraft was transported to the Daimler Benz

Guys, Just to let you know I have sent the last two pictures to the show organisers in case they may want to forward them on to Brian's family along with our condolences. If you would like to add any comments or your own words of condolence then add them to this post and I will forward them on too. Thank you -
reef, I always enjoy spotting the new edit, these are really well produced, I like the fact that they have a smooth feel as some people tend to over sharpen images and that can spoil it but these are just about as good as they get!. (Now prove me wrong, Please :mrhappy: ) Cheers

I like it John, Truly mobile ATC there! Cheers,

Dave, Simi, I'm not up on on my "BF's" but they did advertise 108's & 109's http://www.shorehamairshow.com/displays/air.html Thanks for the reassurance in posting the shot of Brian. John, the glider pilot for me was one of the highlights, he was towed up by the Extra and whilst still unattached was performing stunts you just shouldn't do in a glider. He was then released at 8000 ft and spun, stalled and tail slid all over the place and then just dropped it on the grass at the feet of the commentator. His name is Guy Westgate and he is a 747 captain. Cheers -

HI Martyn, Yes this was the first outing for the Nikon, I've still got lots to learn :mrhappy: -
Here is how the day unfolded. The cockpit picture is inside a Chinook, you wouldn't believe how small it is. Yes I have hundreds more but will spare you! If you would like any of these full size mailed to you please PM me. I dedicate these pictures to the memory of Brian Brown. EDIT: After much thought I decided I would share probably one of the last pictures taken of Brian as he taxied past me for the dog fight. As y
