  1. Hi reef, A great set of shots and interesting flight and commentary. I have the PMDG but like John have never really gotten into the FMC. You will never know what runway to expect. I saw this logged a couple of years ago and I am sure Martyn came up with an answer, you just have to follow the vectoring from ATC. I wonder if before starting to program the FMC you used goto airport and select the active runway of your destination first then reposition to the departure airport and program the FMC with the active? I'm sure you will get more intelligent answers than this  Quite a fe
  2. Flight Simulator X Google Earth Tracker http://www.codeplex.com/fsxget Project Overview FSXGET is a little tool that enables Google Earth to show Flight Simulator X user aircraft and AI object positions and course predictions. Although FSX's internal world map has been improved compared to former versions, it is, not at last due to being an offline world map, still far away from Google Earth's map quality. That's why FSXGET tries to link the two, i.e. extract the simulation data from FSX and provide it to Google Earth to display it. The tool which originally started as an extremely tiny e

  4. :mrhappy: Hi Josh, welcome to our forums. A great entrance, great pics and commentary too. I think I flew on this aircraft to Corfu a few years ago in the OC livery. Cheers
  5. The world-famous Red Arrows have been banned from appearing at the 2012 London Olympics because they are deemed "too British". Organisers of the event say that the Arrows military background might be "offensive" to other countries taking part in the Games. The display team have performed at more than 4000 events worldwide, but the Department of Culture, Media and Sport have deemed the display team "too militaristically British". Red Arrows pilots were said to be "outraged", as they had hoped to put on a truly world class display for the Games, something which had never been seen before.

  25. That's impressive Simi well remembered Here's the next one, you will either know this one straight away or not have a clue. Which runway? it's like me and having more than one parking space, it takes me ages to choose, then when I'm parked I move the car to another space, it annoys the hell out of Mrs Mutley! To be fair it does look completely different in FS2004 so here's the pic. it's bound to go now! Cheers
