I am considering getting another. The 2tb is now available for £93.00 so will be getting one. FSX boots in about 10 seconds and runs well on these drives. I have no plans at the moment to buy an SSD due to the high cost, stupidly high if you ask me.

Looks pretty good. I see that you get good frame rates too going by the figures in the lower right corner of the screenshots.

That looks very challenging. I have not tried landing at this airport but will try it sometime.

It's a shame that this is a Saturday only as I will be working in the morning so that rules me of going as I was looking forward to it.

That looked pretty scary.

In the 6th shot the bridge and the vehicles under it really do look real.

Does P3D make better use of the CPU and GPU and is it 64bit. I really fancy this simulator.

Great shots of one of my favourite airliners.

Thanks Brett, I have had a look and think the Academic licence will do just fine. I have not made any final decision on purchase yet though.

Something I have thought about as a lot of my FSX add on scenery and aircraft are P3D compatible. Is P3D fully 64bit and not as CPU hungry as FSX. Also which licence to go for.

Nice Livery, I really like shot 2, very realistic looking

Great shots, I love the 737. Is this the 800 series?

I have the extended and just finished downloading the latest version a couple of hours ago. Good sound improvements are made, you can clearly hear the buzz sound of the CFM engines and the noise of the runway bumps on the take off run are good too. The bug fixes and other tweaks make a nice improvement to the overall experience too. I must say though that as I also use X-Plane 10 and have the JARdesign A320 NEO this is still far better as just about all of the functions work.

Thanks, I am using Rex Essentials HD for the WX.
