Does anybody else have this scenery? I cannot get helicopters to land on any of the helipads as they just sink in to the texture.

I can fly RC helicopters to a good standard (25 years experience) and did have a go in a Robinson R22 once but even better is that my mate who I flew RC helicopters with now owns and flies a full size Hughes 500. The default FSX Jet Ranger seems to be easy to fly but not having flown the real thing I have no idea of it's realism. The jury is still out on which simulated version to get.

Great shots of a livery that has always been one of my favourites.

Captain Sim Boeing 777 and OMDB Dubai from Fly Tampa, a fitting combination. I am amazed how very little impact this scenery has on the frame rates.

So is Photoshop needed to do this? I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10.

Just bought this scenery and it is fantastic. I was a bit worried about any hit on the frame rates but decided to get it. It installed quickly and with no fuss so I gave it a quick assessment and was suitably impressed. Took the default FSX Cessna 172 up at night just to see how the city looked at night. I was getting between 60-70 frames per second even in the 3D cockpit and the scenery looked awesome. A good purchase in my opinion and I will put some screen shots up when I get a minute and do a video as well.

Ahh I see what you mean, The cabin window view is not default to FSX or the Captain Sim L1011 at this moment in time. This was "edited in" using video editing software to give it a nice effect. Many videos of FSX flights on Youtube have this. I use Sony Vegas for my video editing and only use this because I good a good deal on ebay, I the think the Pro version is over £300 but I got a slightly less powerful version for £20 brand new so it was worth it. In some of my other video's on there you will see rain effects and camera shake, all done with Sony Vegas. I got my Youtube name from

The night lighting of this Simulator leaves FSX well behind in my opinion. It still needs refining to make it better than FSX overall but I feel this will happen as it's more up to date but this is just my opinion. Take a look at this and let me know what you think. http://youtu.be/eSr4fa4Oq-c

Not sure what you mean about getting it to fly! I am not on any beta team. Currently the L1011 uses the default FSX airbus cockpit and flying it was no problem.

Very nice speed that, I would get a better cooler though. I run my i5 3570k at 4.2Ghz and use a Corsair H80. Temps don't go any higher than 45c when under load.

I think it's Winderemere but not 100% certain. I dragged the plane along the map in FSX and plonked it in the water of what I thought was Windermere.
