So far so good. What I cant seem to manage is calibrating it correctly. I end up with the forward view just a bit off centre and 'chase' the center off into side as i try to look ahead. Otherwise i end up flying like an embarrassed teenager with my head down looking over my specs to see straight ahead! Any help on aligning where I am looking with where I want to look would be good!
  2. Thanks Jim. If only I had started editing from day 1! If nothing comes for this thread then I might have to sacrifice a weekend! J

I like the look of the VA integration. That alone will make it a more interesting product, I would want to know the details of that aspect.
  4. I have many aircraft installed in FSX, so many now that I want to manage them efficiently. The average install usually includes a bunch of paint schemes I don't want, and some interesting and irritating variations on data that need ironing out. For example, under manufacture, I have some aircraft that appear with their original manufacture (e.g. Avro) and some with the sim manufacture (e.g. JustFlight). Even then I have some aircraft under JustFlight and some under JustFlight Ltd. What i would like is a tool that allows me to easily change these things, and to hide unwanted paint job

I just love the flying banana! That first photo/screen shot, is that an FSX aircraft? If so where do I get one?
  6. That's a bit worrying, Lets hope you don't get too many older overweight female Russian tourists in the bar. My experience of the Russian abroad is not good, "white pointers" are not a good thing if they are pointing out the ground!

I think I will give this a go. I will report back with how I get on!
  8. John...... No. There are one or two things in that photo that are big pointers...... (NO! nothing to do with headlamps Andrew)
  9. Lets step up a gear..... What aircraft is this........
  10. Great adventure, a pleasure to read, The baton marches on!
  11. Thanks for the hint john.....Fisher P-75 Eagle
  12. I kinda knew that as I don't think the Airacobra or Kingcobra went to a five bladed prop.
  13. The exhaust position looks like a P39 Airacobra.
  14. This is interesting, mainly because of the number of airfields at the price. Does anybody know if you can exclude individual airfields from the install, I already have some of those on the list from other sources and wouldn't want to add a conflict to them.

I was with my Dad at the show, and he wanted primarily to see the museum so having dragged him to Mutley's stand twice, I couldn't inflict that on him as well. It would be interesting to hear the thoughts of those who did attend though.
  16. When I was younger the BA midday concord flight would go over my parents house, having just taken off from Heathrow, you could set your watch by her. Mum and sisters complained it was too loud. dad and I just gawped! Great leg, and fantastic aircraft, nice one!
