And welcome to the Hangar, SirDixie - great shot! I see your a White Roses man after my own heart. Cheers - Dai.

Weston's Helicopter Museum will host a second Flight Simulation Convention later this year. Joe - the Boss - shared a stand at last year's event with Earth Simulation, and plans to have a presence promoting The Hangar this year too. More info here I'm keeping that weekend clear ....... Cheers - Dai.

Of course not, but I think the King of France came into the poem somewhere! ..... One night it happened that he took A peep at an old picture-book, Wherein he came across by chance The picture of a King of France (A stoutish man) and, down below, These words: "King Louis So and So, Nicknamed 'The Handsome!'" There he sat, And (think of it!) the man was fat! ... And, yes, I am a Pooh fan, too. Cheers - Dai.

I think there's something Freudian about your 'Ottoman' - remember this, from your youth..... A bear, however hard he tries, Grows tubby without exercise. Our Teddy Bear is short and fat, Which is not to be wondered at; He gets what exercise he can By falling off the ottoman, But generally seems to lack The energy to clamber back........ Reminds me of something..... (gentle snoring). Cheers - Dai.

Don't forget to turn your lights off, buddy!! Nice flight and some great shots - thanks for sharing. Cheers - Dai.

I'm biased (And Old! - Ed) but for me, there's only one AC in this category - and here's an old B/W of the BI prototype: If I get time, I'll pop a couple more up for your delectation! Cheers - Dai.
-
Yep! That works for me, too! Well done, Simi! Cheer s- Dai.

Go on - bite the bullet and install Windows 7 (64-bit) - you know you're gonna have to sometime!! It will mean re-installing EVERYTHING - but it'll be worth it in the long run.... Cheers - Dai.
-
Not a serious entry, but you try to land on the bl**dy carrier..... Cheers - Dai.

Thanks for putting us all out of our misery, Mike - well done, mate! And thank you, Simi, for a truly entertaining set of clues. Cheers - Dai.
-
Good old Bill Lishman! And my Pam and I thoroughly enjoyed 'Fly Away Home' - some magic moments there. Thanks for the H.U., John! Cheers - Dai.
-
Glad your heart's in the right place, Kieran - well done, mate! Mind you, it was a relief for me when you managed to get the beast down in one piece, eh?!? Cheers - Dai.

You may be interested in this article from the Grauniad: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jan/11/pilot-exhausting-hours-wages Very interesting - but, not very amusing... (seem to remember that from somewhere - Ed) Cheers - Dai.

Got to hand it to Darren, the detail is incredible - and the new mesh will make it even better. Will there be seasons, like Alderney? If so, the result will be virtually lifelike. Well done Darren and everyone who's worked on it. B) Now, you're thinking, where's the 'but'? Only a tiny morsel of a niggle: I'm not sure if John Deere will be happy with this as their newly developed Combine-Baler isn't to be announced until later this year.... Oh yes, and a Happy New Year to everyone.... (Oh Gawd, he's back! - Ed). Cheers - Dai.
-
Thanks, Joe - glad it worked for you with your scenery - some missing/duplicate scenery objects - will sort that when I get connected - looks like the New Year though. Bests to U+L. Cheers and Merry Christmas! Dai.
-
This depends on whether the original model maker used a single texture (bmp) or a tiled effect. If it's a building face, it's unlikely to be tiled unless it was a sky-scraper with lotsa windows! Cheers - Dai.
-
Just to say Merry Christmas, Guys and Gals (!) - moving farms today (Aaarrrggghhh!!!) and won't have broadband 'til New Year.... So - Take Care an Speak Soon. Cheers - Dai.

Here's a very interesting perspective on the degree of automation in the modern jet's cockpit. The author is retired airline captain and a former director of flight safety at Pan Am: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/17/opinion/17reiner.html?_r=2&th&emc=th And thanks to Doug Ross over at Vorona for the heads up..... Cheers - Dai.

I see you're 'tearing down the dotted line' again, Boss! Nice pics and a magic AC and model, eh? Cheers - Dai.

Is your Buddy 'camera shy' - he keeps ducking! BTW - guess that's the Flight-1 Ground Environment - like the Greek Islands? Nice... Cheers - Dai.
