  1. Oh, so droll, Nigel - for a moment there, I was taking it seriously! A bientot - Dai.
  2. Michael, clearly, the model includes a link between the propeller animation and that of the main rotor - this shouldn't be so. Whilst the propeller animation is correctly linked to engine speed, the main rotor rotation animation should be linked to airspeed, so that the main rotor continues to (auto-)rotate after the engine stops. I'll try to dig out an old auto-gyro model I made using this linkage and make a video to show you. But don't hold your breath - it'll be well hidden and take me some time to find! Oh, and keep at the scenery building and videos, please! Cheers - Dai.
  3. Brilliant, Michael. The photo tiles must have been made in 2010 or later - very up to date. You flew by our farm at 50 sec (druidston) and towards the end of the video. By the way, the flight dynamics of your auto-gyro leaves something to be desired! The main rotor, which auto-rotates during flight and only stops rotating when the auto-gyro is stationary. Detail, I know, but probably saved a few skins! Cheers - Dai.
  4. Must have just missed you, Sam - Joe, Brian and Tim were kept busy, I hardly had time to speak with them. Met J G (hi, John) but missed James and Rob - maybe next year... Cheers - Dai.
  5. John, I met Duncan at Cosford and he gave me a quick preview of AH-2 - very impressive and a huge increase in scope on AH-1. I particularly liked the options for pax and the aid projects, not to mention the possibilities for co-operative hauling (multi-player?). Also, Duncan showed the 'allowed touchdown area' facility, which would enable more helicopter 'hauling' - just the ticket. Duncan reckoned Christmas was a possibility? Good luck with the beta testing! Cheers - Dai.
  6. Chris, the offending house is ES 6.1 AGN and appears at Autogen density = Dense. It's removal will require editing of the ES AGN files, I think - that, or an exclusion placed with InstantScenery or similar... Some other conflicts with ScotFlight, too, but none too serious unless you're deeply into your BR rolling stock! Cheers - Dai.

    My Pembrokeshire

Gosh, Dale has changed! Nice work, Michael. BTW, you missed our farm - just north of Broadhaven... Cheers - Dai.
  8. Excellent work, Micke - well worth the effort! Thanks for sharing. Cheers - Dai. P.S. Finished the crisps and the pop a couple of weeks ago!
  9. How's about "Inside, looking out", or "Cross wind landing"? Have we had sea-planes, recently? Or, maybe, city-scapes - perhaps o specific... Will try to find my thunking cap! Cheers - Dai.
  10. Probably a hire car, so they'll lose a couple of hundred Euro - it was their fault, after all, Nicht Wahr? Good catch, James! Cheers - Dai. .
  11. No disrespect to you or your choice of photoscenery, James, but this particular commnt does not hold for all photoscenery. Nuff said Hwyl - Dai.
  12. @ Michael - for sure, Horizon plus Treescapes is good for Wales, but not a patch on this new Earth Simulations product. I really can't wait for Darren and Vikki to do the same for my part of the world. By the way, how do you know EGFE? We lived just 5 miles west, at Druidston, before moving to mid Wales... @ Chris - thanks for the advice, I'll try it out. The video was captured with FRAPS set at 30 fps, which went through the edior (WLMM, as WMM 6 wouldn't handle it, for some reason) and upload to Vimeo quite well - no stutters like my last video. I'm using the borrowed Chillblast Tiger Moth
  13. Was that fly sh*t on the lens, Nigel? Might be the camera... Good catch - I bet that got the legs pumping? Cheers - Dai.
  14. Does this link help, Michael? https://vimeo.com/user3235196/videos Cheers - Dai.
  15. Here's another video from Earth Simulations' NW Scotland photoscenery - a flight from Kinlochewe to Torridon: Any feedback gratefully received! Cheers - Dai.
  16. You're a star, Nigel - thanks for sharing, Mate! Cheers - Dai.
  17. I'm sorry to have to say this, but we risk losing our Hangar's independent image in respect of reviews by not including any discussion of compatibility with other relevant add-ons. Whilst I realise that OrbX has a huge following within the flight sim community as a developer of many excellent products, we shouldn't, in my personal opinion, treat OrbX any differently to other developers. I'm afraid that by ignoring compatibility issues in these reviews, we elevate OrbX above other developers and appear to treat their products more favourably than perhaps we should. And I fully realise that the
  18. Well done, Bro' - clear and concise, with some excellent screenshots. Chers - Dai.
  19. Is this the First Class Simulations' Lancaster, Al'? If so, the review's here: http://www.mutleyshangar.com/reviews/dai/lanc/lanc_old.htm I don't think FCS enjoyed the review... Cheers - Dai.
  20. Bit drafty in the bomb aimer's seat, ain't it Al'?!? Nice shots, though. Cheers-Dai.
  21. Customs would be more interested in someone coming in, rather than escaping Cameron's clutches... Nice pics, Al' - well, plenty of black! Cheers -Dai. :pld-git:
  22. James, it was my introduction to French plumbing. I'm still reeling, fifty-odd years on... Hwyl - Dai.
  23. My only visit to Perpignan was in 1959, when we were 'packaged' en route to Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava. Dan Air - or similar - took us from Gatwick in a beautiful, silver DC-3. The flight took 4 (four, count 'em) hours and we had sweeties for our ears before descending. My lingering memory of the airport's 'facilities' was a hole in the floor and 2 small pads for your feet whist you squatted. I must return there, sometime... Abiento - Dai.
  24. +1 on the ending, Nigel, and thanks for sharing. It's strange, isn't it, how we currently laud the 100 th anniversary of the first World War, where hundreds of thousands were massacred indiscriminately, yet find the sacrifice of more than fifty thousand crew in Bomber Command almost an embarassment because 'Bomber' Harris carried out the Cabinet's directives so effectively. [/rant] Cheers - Dai.
