Good review, thanks. I've been flying it a bit recently and I like it better than the Aerosoft version, not that there's anything wrong with the Aerosoft effort. I find it a little harder on VAS than, say, the A2A C172, but to be fair I only noticed it because I had my LOD set too high anyway. I'm not mad about the radio options, but as I don't own any of the payware GPS's, the two Milviz GPS's work well for me. The weather radar is nice, although I'm not sure how realistic it is to have it in a Beaver...but I'm open to correction on that one. What I'm not happy about is announcements that th

My FTX 3 was working fine, then developed a problem where it wouldn't complete a download. I've tried all the suggestions from their guys on the Orbx support forum without success. It looks like every time I want to update one of their products I'll have to reinstall the entire thing. I've asked them to make update available for manual install, but doubtless that suggestion will go straight into the round file... So if you're still holding off, I'd say keep doing so, for as long as you can. I'm not knocking the idea of FTX Central 3, it's a good one, but it seems to be making life

Spotted it at Rome Fiumicino while taxiing out on an Aer Lingus A320, surrounded by misc other BA, Alitalia, EasyJet, etc A32x's and (mostly) Ryanair 737's. And there it was...a long...slim distinctive shape in Meridiana livery. I'm no plane spotter but I guess it came close to the excitement they feel when they spot a favourite.
