mutley 4,495
:wow:  First of all Panos a fitting tribute to that tragic loss of life on flight 522 well done, that first real-world shot really bought it home. Thanks for getting us safely to Greece, a really great post, the editing is superb, one of our best PIREPS yet! I will read this one many times. You certainly have improved with every post, I guess it feels great to have the ATWC airshow in town? at least you can sleep in your own bed tonight :toclue: BTW great idea making the shots clickable so the full size image can be seen. I embedded your video too as it is just as good. Did you edit the video in Ulead VideoStudio 11? Cheers
hurricanemk1c 195
Excellent - The aircraft on flight 522 was 5B-DBY, a 737-300 Kieran
allardjd 1,853
Panos, Just excellent!!! Absolutely your best so far. The video was great too, aside from the head-banger music. :toclue: It was a great flight and very well documented. I thought you flew the landing very well and the video gives proof. Nice work. What do you use for weather? :star :star :star :star :star  John
reef 3
Hey Panos, Had a feeling something special would come from run to your native soil. Fantastic shots and flight with some very forboding skies. Love it :mrhappy: steve
dgor 0
A fantastic post Panos with great shots, a fine commentary and some wonderful edits! I loved the dawn departure although I have never been happy with the VC lighting in the PMDG 737 as large bits seem to be left grey instead of the browny colour the FMC and autopilot go. Really fantastic video too :mrhappy: Well done! Cheers Dave

ddavid 149
Now that, my dear Panos, was a leg-and-a-half! And the video to go with it - eleven marks out of ten for that - a really fine contribution - thanks for sharing! Can't wait for the leg into Oporto - I was your age when I went there last. (Nah, they hadn't invented airplanes then, Ed!) Cheers - Dai. :mrhappy:

A320cap 0
Thanks a lot for your kind comments! ....Did you edit the video in Ulead VideoStudio 11?Cheers No, It was edited in the 10th version. The next one will be either in Sony Vegas or in Ulead 11 ...What do you use for weather? I use Flight Environment. The taxi and takeoff shots were taken with resolution 1280x1024x16 instead of x32. I then realised it and corrected it. That's why the clouds didn't appear very real
