Ladies/Gents,

I'd just like to take this quick opportunity to raise a glass (of orange juice) to Mutleys and you _all_, for the sense of community here, the liberal moderation, the sharing of information/old war stories and the warm touchy feely camaraderie that binds it all together :) We are a diverse bunch of people with a strong common bond and whatever our niggles or disagreements, there is more that we have in common than divides us :) If we have a quick pop at one another from time to time it's only because we care.... Hurrah!

Thanks Joe for keeping the whole shebang on the rails.... K

Well said Kevin. It's actually a testament to how nice this particular community is that as a moderator, I like my fellow mods, hav very little to do.

As for P3D, I'll be renewing my developers licence on Monday for V2, it certainly should be interesting.

Kevin, I think that you speak for every member!  Thanks Joe We all really appreciate the service that you provide us with.   :thum:  :hat:

Edit: I have been reading through other posts. @ Joe. Is it possible for you to grant the poster the ability to delete their own posts? I have sometimes inadvertently double posted (usually due to operator error :) ), and sometimes posted something that I then found to a question already answered of some such thing that makes me look like a right plonker (not hard to do! :th_blush: ).

Nice sentiments, Kevin, to which I wholeheartedly subscribe. Mind you, if you'd like tougher moderation, just say the word!

@ John G.: just edit out what you'd like to delete and, if you want the whole post removed, flag it up for moderation as such, I guess?

Cheers - Dai.

As a relatively new member, I have found this site such a friendly place to hang out..everyone has been so welcoming, supportive with queries and often brought me to tears (of laughter)! ;-)

Had I not been at the Cosford Flight Sim Show and talking to Kevin, and Joe briefly, who prompted me to sign up the same day, I probably would have remained in my 'sim closet' forever.

Being part of a community like MH has given new meaning and motivation to my hobby. A truly great bunch of people.

:D

Minx

(Sorry for the basic emotions... dont get animated smileys on my tablet)

+1 from me, too, Kevin!     :thum:

Especially when one considers some flightsim forums on the web which are just not pleasant to read through, let alone participate in.

The feelgood factor in this place is partly owing to the membership, obviously, but mostly a result of inspirational leadership, which makes such a huge difference , so thanks, Joe.   ^_^

(OK, OK, but I'll happily take the flak, 'cos it's true).

Cheers,

Bruce

P.S. Kevin - orange juice???      I've heard of that stuff, but I'm never sure whether you're supposed to drink it or rub it in......

I couldn't agree more with the OP. This is a great place with a great bunch of people. I've made a number of friends here, most of whom I've never met and likely never will. I can't think of anyone here who I dislike. I can't say the same for the cast of characters at other FS forums and I mostly stay away from them. The atmosphere here is unique. I've even become a Marmite fan as a result of my MH friends.

@ Kevin and Bruce - Long live orange juice! I was raised on it, having developed a distaste for milk early in life. As for milk, it's horrible stuff. I strongly believe all of it should be diverted to the production of its more palatable derivatives, cheese and ice cream.

John
