mutley 4,497
Thanks to everyone who took part in this fun event- JG Kieran Dai Andrew Brian Joe A good mix of pilots with aircraft ranging from the Harrier, Dizzie, Lancair Legacy and the Mosquito (Which showed as a tail-dragging BN Islander to me ) Now we have to see what Micke can make of the FS Recorder file! Cheers... Joe
stu7708 244
Looks like a blast!! Now Joe, a tail dragging Islander is nothing... The best I've seen is a tail dragging A321 (or possibly a B737), and I think you were flying it
hurricanemk1c 195
It was fun at times:
ddavid 149
Here's a short video of the start at EGLC: My PC cr*pp*d out so I missed the best bits! Cheers - Dai.

Captain Coffee 2,030
Wish I could have attended, that looked fun. Loved the squirrely DC-3s .
needles 1,013
Hey Dai, Thanks for doing that. I think I stayed on the runway for the whole take off run. Incredible! A shame your PC packed up on you. It was indeed a great little baton run and Joe got the baton to Southampton unscathed, I think. It was also very nice to see John G and Kieran joining us on multiplayer for the first time. Good Craic! Cheers.
hurricanemk1c 195
Do you count the unfortunate gear incident being 'unscathed' Brian?
mutley 4,497
Superb Dai, I managed to get the take off from my POV. It looks like I hit the tower bridge from one view but not another, also included is Andrew's pass under the road section of TB, very impressive. A superb flight home, I made many mistakes as Micke will find out (Including a gear up landing!) but I was busy looking after the rest of the crew! Enjoy.
hifly 925
ROCKIN! That looks like a load of fun. I've really enjoyed ATWC, great stories, flights n pics. Well done all who took part.

stu7708 244
Yes, we left it standing! Now quit posting videos of the flight, you lot are giving away all the fun stuff leaving me nothing to work with I guess I'll just have to make sure I do some daredevil flying when I edit my self into the flight. stu7708 244
By the way Jow, where did you upload that FS-recorder file? Is it in the reviewers Dropbox??
stu7708 244
ehmm.. and what on earth is that black smoke combinded with sparks coming from your airplane as you pass Tower Bridge??? Kieran, that take off wasn't to bad considering you had a DC-3 blocking parts of the runway

mutley 4,497
>> ehmm.. and what on earth is that black smoke combinded with sparks coming from your airplane as you pass Tower Bridge??? << I mentioned earlier that I thought I had hit Tower Bridge hence the sparks and smoke but I got away with it. Plenty of other problems too due to doing several computery things at once. BTW, Dai started the fly in but had a couple of problems and couldn't make the whole flight so don't be surprised when he goes AWOL. Cheers, Joe
