And for Christmas, you are getting...

Recommended Posts

Or perhaps you don't know yet and it will be a lovely surprise.

My daughter's bought me a Saitek X55 Rhino, should be great for Elite: Dangerous and FSX. It comes tomorrow, trouble is she won't let me even glimpse it till Christmas.

That's the trouble when your kids grow up, it's pay back time for all the times you made them wait. :(

500 rounds of .45 cal, 230 grain, round-nose jacketed ammunition, a new edition of the Florida Gun Laws book and a new concealed carry holster. John

No problem and you can even help me burn some of them up.  Good clean fun... and not quite so easy to do in California.   John

Peace and goodwill on Earth.   But as that is unlikely I'll have iFly's 747-400 and the Fokker 27... oh and not forgetting...   Cont'd page 82

I too am getting an X55 for Christmas, it is in the house and hidden from me (In my sons wardrobe)

I am also getting Rex 4 and the FSAddon Avro Anson, and possibly the Dads Army DVD boxed set.

Given J A's present, I have decided not to go to Disney World this Christmas as I would only worry about what Snow White had hidden under her dress. I have been to Thailand and heard all sorts of stories of "girls" having concealed weapons under their dresses!

Nice one John. Mine comes today, I'm going to stealthily hide behind the bed when my daughter wraps it so I can catch a glimpse, wish me luck. Great stick for the money, equivalent [metal] HOTAS setups cost a bomb.

Have you seen the [very amusing] Froogle video regarding shaft lubrication?  :th_blush:

Some have issues with a bit of stickiness due to lack of lube in the shaft, plastic cup area.

Not a problem with a bit of Vaseline, or silicone lube from Maplin. This is it. Laughed my socks off...

Between my Phantom 2 and my Warthog stick, my XMass budget is already spent

Lol @ Joe

Warthog!!! Awesome stick. Expensive, but they tell me that as soon as you lift it out of the box and feel the weight and awesome build quality you realise why. No twist axis though, so no good for me. I don't much care for pedals.

@ MartinW. All that lubricating shafts  working it up and down  :th_blush: and plastic rings  :winka: makes me think that Christmas and my birthday will come  :woot:  at once this year.  :faint:

And I am looking forward to my X55!  :D

thx for the invite John :)

that would be allot of fun...

firearms are very sensitive issue here in Cali, they take all the fun out of it

Oh yes, I used to be a professional photographer, mega bucks for the best kit.

We used to use one of these...

http://www.sinar.ch/en/category/products/

And a Hasselblad 6X6. And a Nikon SLR... all chemical of course in those days, none of your easy look at the back of the camera to make sure it's okay stuff. I'm talking pooing yourself while you agitate the film in a dev tank hoping for the best.
