mutley 4,498
I've been "Lording" it around Aerosoft's MonacoX today just picking out my spot ready for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in May :mrhappy: I'm still discovering the delights of this scenery but here are some early pictures, the review will be published in around 10 days  Cheers
ddavid 149
On holiday again, Mut :?: :?: Lucky b*gger - lovely sea and spectacular night lighting - thanks. In the same way you're a F1 fan, I'm a Tour de France follower - I've got the route and stage finishes etc for 2007, starting in July. Is there any half decent VFR type scenery for France (in FSX) that you know of? It'd be great to 'fly' the stage before watching the action. Thanks again for the pics - wish my sea was as shimmery.... :mrhappy: Cheers - David.
mutley 4,498
Now I know what you like David I will keep an eye out and let you know but if you know a little French (You can always use Babelfish) have a look here http://www.francevfr.com/ As far as the shimmering sea goes, nothing special going on but I do run my water detail on high :mrhappy: Cheers

mulletman 0
beautiful stuff, this is certainly one review i am looking forward too. Hell, I look forward to all MH reviews! :mrhappy:
MartinW 0
Very impressive, what was the impact on frame rate Mut?
mutley 4,498
With our spec Martin, not a problem with a helo or GA but flying past in the Level-D 763 at 500 ft may bring your PC to display a slide show with the sliders up full. I really enjoyed this scenery but I am waiting for some feedback from Mathijs Kok from Aerosoft on some technical issues I had hence the delay in publishing. (Well that and being completely knackered after a night without sleep! Cheers
JoeEllwood 0
Looks great - will look forward to the review. Although I'm lucky enough to get all Aerosoft products for zip, judging by the Monoco scenery for FS9 - this'll be well worth the money.
mutley 4,498
If I had known that Joe I would have asked you to do the review. Cheers
ddavid 149
Hey Joe (sorry, I'm an old JH fan  ) - if you're that close to Aerosoft, could you possibly persuade them to do the Lakla scenery for FSX? When I asked in January, they said they had no plans - schade! - but maybe they've thought again....? Cheers - David.
JoeEllwood 0
Mut, There's no way I could get those graphics on my system with a flyable frame rate - rules me out straight away! David, I don't really have much of a say as far as persuasiveness goes - Mathijs is just a friend of mine. I'll email him and post the result here.
JoeEllwood 0
Here's Mathijs' reply - nice and quick: Yes, we’ll certainly do Lukla for FSX, but it will be include with another airport, most likely Kathmandu.
dgor 0
Looks fantastic Mutley  Love FSX water effects!
