Captain Coffee 2,030
MILF = Milford I Love to Fly...ofc...dirty buggers. ORBx sale has given me a carp ton more places to explore. FTX NZNI and NZSI were added to my scenery list, and from the looks of this initial Airhauler trip to explore the immediate area...WWOOWWWzers. Overview from the parking ramp end from the vantage of a VERY cool Jan Kees paint (thanks for these amazing paints sir...I picked up every version of these shark skins for the various TwOtter models...beauts!) : Wow, view of the veggies along the taxi ramp: Launched and on the way...looks like a few walls to get over first: Spiraled my way out of the sound: Impressive crags just beyond Milf: Leaving the mountains and approaching some farms/ranches, one of which is my destination...a dirt strip apparently...we shall soon see. It is dirt, and much longer than I was led to believe, but still fun to get into with tall trees on either end...fun fun. You can spot it right behind the tail seen during my first go around...heh. After dropping the load of livestock I decided to fly over to the coast on the way home, rather than direct, so I could enter the sound from the ocean side...purty. On approach: Home safe and Milford Sound: Thanks for flying along my first New Zealand delivery job.
Sabre 28
What a beautiful trip, superb set of shots. I own the South island but never did buy the North - Just when I thought the ORBX sale couldn't tempt me anymore
M.I.B. 39
Outstanding views Cap'n Matt Coffee! I'm a staunch FS9er, but if there is one thing from FSX/P3D I crave as heck, that would have to be the EYE CANDY, the visual realism.
brett 2,316
That's one place I never bought yet, I think I made a mistake. Great set of shots, thanks for the flight.

mutley 4,498
That's a coincidence, I was flying from NZMF yesterday too, I went up the Sound and turned right and did some of the strips out that way, stunning scenery.

FSX is just not for me, for many reasons. And then again, I'm loyal to FS2004, for life, till death will break us apart
