My first Mach Loop!

Recommended Posts

Here's my attempt, I went straight for the jugular and flew Just Flight's Tornado!

I chose summer textures as I was feeling cold in my pit.

The flight plan is already in our download library thanks to JG here http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/index.php/files/file/2501-misc-machloopzip

Yeah...i tried this in the F106A...guessing it is not really recommended for tight turns at Mach numbers (...it was creaking quite loudly at 12+Gs...) :D

My ground textures were not keeping up at mach 1.2 either...so, although it was fun, it wasn't 'pretty' or screenshot worthy at all.

C Coffee, Matt, one great thing I have found so far isP3Dv3 really loads replacement textures fast, they must be able to free the memory quickly.

I will have another go soon, once FTX Wales is released, even lower than this!

@Joe

OK, no surprises, then. ;)

When I've finished my current project I had thought of giving it a go in my 744 (having seen pics of the truckies oops sorry Hercules drivers doing it), but with a significantly greater wingspan and momentum (not to mention rather less manoeuvrability with flaps down) perhaps it's not a terribly good idea. :P

Cheers,
