Captain Coffee 2,030
It is much easier to fly a plane than a relationship. I wish there was a good Love Simulator. I have never gotten the hang of it. Some VR (Virtual Romance) practice would be great. And I don't mean LSxxx ...more like P2D (Prepared 2 Divorce). Good luck on the heart mending. dodgy-alan 1,587
Welcome back Dan, I wondered where you had gone.
hlminx 301
Sorry too hear that things didn't go as planned, Dan. Life does tend to throw some curve balls.. FS is a great place to spend some time and get the grey cells reorganised.
J G 927
Welcome back Dan. Reading this thread is like a rollercoaster! I am sorry to hear that things didn't work out for you. Perhaps you should take solas in your Flight Sim. I sincerely hope you recover quickly from your heartache. On a slightly different note: @C. Coffee: ... I wish there was a good Love Simulator.... Its called a blowup doll mate.
needles 1,013
Hey Dan welcome back. My lad was also on Op Herrick. Glad you got home safe mate. All the best for the future wedding but as Joe says, make sure you set some ground rules. Knowing my other half, all the best in setting the said ground rules. Mine didn't last very long before I was living under her own ground rules.
icudan 5
Thanks all! Slowly settling back into normality and enjoying myself! Needles, Hope your lad got back safely also! I believe the 4 Scots and the DG were there at the same time on 14. Is he still in your son?
Andrew Godden 943
4 hours ago, icudan said: Is he still in your son? Now there is a very interesting question. There are times, I know, when he is embarrassed to have needles as a father. If only needles could accept that his son loves Justin Bieber music.

He has about 7yrs to serve for his 22. He is in for the duration. He came home ok but his last tour was driving battle field ambulances which meant he saw more than he would have liked really. He is about to get posted back to Wittering as he has been at Leeming for almost four years. Thanks for asking, we are really proud of him and all the service personnel. needles 1,013
@Andrew Godden, I'm surprised you didn't read that question in a different vein. Sonny boy is actually starting to look to me for advice and stuff. Not something he would openly admit to I know but there it is. Get them through the teen years and everything seems to fall in to place, as it should. Although at 32, he is a source of embarrassment when it comes to liking Bieber. I left it to my wife to have our kids. She has specialist kit that does the job.
needles 1,013
Ah, you think the same way I do JG, you just beat me to it. I bet he's a wee bit sore down there now hey!
icudan 5
Haha! This is why I shouldn't type messages out when I am tired, I could imagine it would be sore but he left it to his wife aswell JG.
