Dean33 29
I was using Snapper but it now seems to forget the settings every time I close down. Is is there a way to fix this or can anyone suggest a similarly inexpensive screenshot app? W10 P3DV4. Thanks
rosariomanzo 545
Why not use the 'v' key? P3D saves the screenshot as JPG too.
Tim_A 997
V key here too. And Win-PrtScr captures the screen to a .png for the occasions I need something else.
mutley 4,497
I'm a V key user too, it does what it says on the tin and doesn't distract me from the flight.
Dean33 29
Thanks guys. Looks like the V key wins!
serolrom 5
Maybe not exactly what you were looking for, but gyazo makes it really easy to take a screenshot and upload it to your personal album ready to share if that's what you want the pics for. Otherwise, local storage is in order. shift+space for x-plane users, if useful for someone (I just learned that)
cporses 50
Windows 10 also has the Sniping Tool option. Start typing 'Sniping' in the search box, bottom left and the tool comes up. It does not pause the flightsim at all.
Captain Coffee 2,030
I am a VKey supporter too, but for a more "Featured" free screenshot app, there is FRAPS...it does Video too.
Tim_A 997
I'm kinda worried about Windows having a built-in sniper . . .
JohnL 13
YAFSScreen to take the shots, IrfanView to edit them.
