dodgy-alan 1,587
Very nice shots, dodgy did you hit the ground shortly after taking the photo of the wright flyer? No actually. I kept it going for a good 15 minutes, you have to really concentrate to do it but it IS possible.

simi_av8r 0
I see that Gareth and Soya have found the Bleriot and Antoinette aircraft i used in my shots....well done guys, some nice captures! @ Tom: The sites posted may only show FS9 aircraft, but as Soya has shown, they are perfectly capable of being used in FSX also, it's just a case of importing them in. ddavid 149
Here's 2 late entries from me - tried to get the Magnificent Men as well as their Machines! The first is one you all know - yes, the Red Baron himself - Baron Rittmeister Manfred Freiherr von Richthofen. Here he is flying his Fokker DR 1 'tri-plane' over the trenches at Verdun. And next, the Red Baron's nemesis - he was shot down by Canadian pilot, Captain A.R. Brown, in a Sopwith Camel. Here's the machine as flown by the Canadian Ace, Major William George Barker, VC., with his special pierced heart emblem on the tail. No edits, just a couple of tweaks on the textures with PhotoShop - the DR 1 is by Andrei Solomykine & Alexandr Gordeev and the Camel by David Eckert . Enjoy - and Good Luck! Cheers - Dai.
