dodgy-alan 1,587
Well this has been an interesting day, Spent most of it up at St Richards Hospital being prodded and poked. I have fluid on my lungs causing a breathing problem, this has been bought on by my newly repaired heart actually slowing down (or as they put it , failing !) and not pumping as efficiently as it should. They've changed medication and will bring my cardiology appointments forward to try and get to the bottom of the problem. Its quite common apparently but when they start using terms like heart failure it does tend to make the arse twitch a bit !

mutley 4,497
Hi Alan, That's bad news mate, they could be a bit more thoughtful with their words but I guess there's no way to say it any other way. I am sure they will be able to turn the wick up to get your ticker pumping stronger. All the best mate, I hope things turn out ok. Cheers, Joe

allardjd 1,853
Alan, hang in, my friend. Make them do what they need to do. Medicine has come to the point where they can almost "program" the heart and its response with meds. I'm sure they'll get it worked out. In the meantime, keep those screenshots coming. I don't always comment but I always look and snitch about one in three of yours for my digital photoframe. John
