  3. Well as no buggers would give me any idea what P3D was like, I took the plunge and found myself back in time , just like it was when I first bought fsx and hardly anything from FS9 would work in it First impressions?? why did I bother!!! However most aircraft installers have problems, my carenado 337 has a transparent cockpit when seen from the inside but solid when seen from the outside the carenado b36 seems ok though. and the aerosoft airbus works fine so all is not lost. scenery wise none of the ftx uk products work, i tried to copy across the files as well, but it wasnt r

  4. Here's some pics of an unusual BAv flight I recently did. Glasgow EGPF to Barra EGPR in the Outer Hebrides. Landing at the airport on a beach runway was a new experience! Here we are on the ramp at Glasgow loading passengers/bags: Shortly after leaving Glasgow on Rwy 5: The weather took a turn for the worse crossing the sea: Parked at the Barra terminal: The beach landing area: Hope you enjoy!

  5. One of the better parts of being retired, is that you get the chance to do things that were not allowed during your working life. So being without a job and billions in the bank, I decided to own my own Airline. So now with five years after the launch of Global Air, these are a few views of our aircraft. I approached Boeing to build me a freight version of the 737NG 900 and here we see VP-BOV: Next up is a 777F VP-LMW (Global Wanderer) caught on camera at Las Vegas: A 747-400F VP-GCE (Global Enterprise) is on the FedEx ramp at Anchorage Alaska: The latest and largest member of th

  6. Had some problems with leg 4 with my textures, I was trying to check out FTXGlobal and Vectors to see how it looked. Not so good So I activated FTXScotland and it seems to have at least cleared up for Leg 5. No time for comments about what I saw along the way but I will at least show my screen shots around the waypoints. See if you can spot the lighthouses. WP1 WP2 WP3 WP4 Wind farms before next waypoint WP5 WP6, right downwind at EGPK for T&G Leaving EGPK WP7 Circled around the mountain to head for next waypoint WP8

  12. The lighting there is very dramatic but I don't own FT's Dubai nor fly there often enough to justify a purchase. Sorry I can't help you here.

  15. there is some converter tool out there; not sure how it performs I’m pretty sure there will be many issues with HDR textures not showing i don’t believe the tool has the ability to map the new tones correctly without manual intervention manually exported, works fine 100%! Your move

  17. Sorry Chris, Dubai does look good but is not on my local patch as I fly short haul around Europe so is not on my list. France definitely is though and am looking forward to that.
