Jon is correct, Allan, you are confusing generation with Grid Supply. Wind turbines are inefficient low volume generation that relies on a specific set of weather conditions to operate well, too much wind and they have to be shut down, too little wind and they don't work. The phase of the electricity from wind generation is difficult to match with that of the grid and the run up of wind farms coming on to the grid is therefore beset with problems that are costly to manage and require external power sources to overcome. Thanks ! Well, I think I am in love with props and bush flying , so I never planned to upgrade the companies to heavies, long distance and big airports. Time for another status update. Sadly the weather have been less than ideal for outdoor wood working lately, but we got some work done over this weekend. The last layer of treatment to the finished part was applied on Wednesday night, and by Friday it was ready for the first outdoors dinner for the year.
