  1. Announcement! Today we complete our Treeline North America series by releasing the final 28 states to cover 49 out of 50. Alaska is not covered because of the lack of whole-state photo-scenery coverage but will be the subject of more traditional scenery development using the same detailed data sources as Treeline. The whole Lower 48 plus HI, PR, and USVI are now uploaded to stores and I'm sure they'll make them available as soon as possible. The best external interface is eSATA, since this is a direct bus connection using the drive's native interface - no bottlenecks; it will run at the same speed as an internal drive, (if you look at the eSATA on a desktop PC, you'll see that it's literally just a cable from the internal drive connector) Next best thing is USB3. It's a little bit slower but still acceptably quick for FSX. I run FSX from a USB3 drive, and you really wouldn't know it's an external. No stutters, no blurries.... But you must have a USB3 drive, a USB3 cable (has the extra section on the top of the connector) AND y

Thanks everyone, especially Geoff for starting this post, I am pleased to announce that the target was reached today which was very timely as I have just paid for the hosting and databases for the next two years. Present status: Web hosting and databases until Jul 30th 2016 Domain name paid for until Dec 12th 2015 (That will be our 10 years anniversary!)
