 fantastic detail Craig and exact as the subject! When I saw this helo released I immediately thought of you! Well done. I'm sure Joe won't mind me saying, he was, or still is Trans_601 and was an original member of Mutley's even with his own article on our site - http://www.mutleyshangar.com/features/t ... ans601.htm (It would be great if you ever found the time to update this Joe ) Now Joe writes reviews for AVSIM and you should look up his articles they're very informative and well worth a view. Cheers

I'm pleased this is now getting some debate The challenge is to get back to Blighty eventually even if it takes months with zig-zagging around the globe. I like the fact that it can be totally random and allowing all users to fly what ever aircraft they like. Don't forget we've got airliners, business jets, float planes, military, ultralights even gliders! I draw the line at BMW's and hovercraft though, It must fly more than a hundred feet off the ground. The space shuttle could do the whole trip in an hour but that's banned to! It would be great if a couple of members could do a multip

Leg 1 EGHI - EGKK [Long post!]
mutley replied to mutley's topic in Around The World Challenge (ATWC)
Cheerss Joe, Like I was saying to John it doesn't just have to be in your own neck or the woods, otherwise we Brits wouldn't get very far! You can join in anywhere and we've lifted the 500Nm rule. -
Hi ddavid  You're spot on. Mrbobo managed to get it on Saturday and has posted the shot above. It's in North America and I haven't got a clue yet although mulletman knows where it is, any ideas? Cheers
-
I need more clues! maybe a wider shot or terminal building? I can't even guess what ******* Air is!

Leg 1 EGHI - EGKK [Long post!]
mutley replied to mutley's topic in Around The World Challenge (ATWC)
Thanks Phil that's fine. I had a quick look at the weather, you will be ok! Everyone please take note of an amendment to the rules in the main sticky post. Cheers -
After Phil's flight to Switzerland I think we will lift the 500Nm limit as there are several members wishing to do longer haul. What I don't want to do is complete the challenge in 3 hops! I think that some flights could go inter-continental for example Europe to Africa where not much is gained in Longtitude, if you are tendering for the next flight please bear that in mind. If you have any comments or suggestions please post here. Thanks
