Chris, Simi has given you the go ahead to fly. On this occasion I don't mind you going west to Tel Aviv as Mullet wants to fly out from there on the next leg. So go for it! Post in a new thread, good luck! Cheers -
Here's this weeks top 3, there were so many to choose from, it's becoming more difficult to separate simulation from reality! The Vacs is back! a trademark picture from Wayne, good enough to hang on the wall. Mulletman's performing some more of his magic. We don't always see a lot of shots from Fred, but when we do they are always top notch! Smeagol's 744F in Emirates livery, is it real or is it Photoshopped! A special mention goes to John on his fantastic Around the World challenge post and this shot of nose to nose with a crazy Greek! Hope you enjoyed this selection, well don

 WoW Sam I missed these the first time around. That really is Tigermeet to the extreme but I doubt you will get re-fuelled performing those manoeuvres :nervious: Cheers

(Steady Mullet!) Well done Simi, that's another leg chalked up. Interesting shots, I would get that camera checked out though some of those shots hurt my eyes :nervious: So don't hold back anyone who wants to take on the next leg! -

Thanks Fred, so have you  There's no reason why you cannot take the baton to Riga or Tel Aviv. Or perhaps some kind member could fly to one of these airports and you could do a link between to the two :nervious: -

Cheers Chris, Keep an eye out on the posts where the requests will be posted then you can make a post suggesting a location you would like to fly to. :nervious: -
True enough Martin they have tried to sell out to "Middle England" but I can see through their tricks. Got my council tax bill today, a 6.8% price hike. That's three years of pay rises for me (If I'm a good boy) my cash flow is like a one-way tide always going out grr...

:good John, Thanks for taking the considerable time to make this entertaining post, I really enjoyed being there it as much as you did. (I wasn't there tho' :nervious: ) I am so pleased you got to make the trip and by the look of it although a fixed wing fan you appeared to enjoy the day and take in all that was being shown to you, so the prize could not have gone to anyone more deserving. Now you will have to pop over to Aerosoft and pick up the best Seahawk on the market http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/ib ... 90,FS03223 and master that landing! Regards,

Have you just been watching Cockwise with John Cleese? You will have to change your name to Brian Stimpson. Sunday will be an ideal time to get them all corrected Uncle Martin. I guess cheap components are to blame, I used to synchronise all my clocks to military precision but I'm a bit more laid back now so a minute here, a minute there.

Ok here's the shots of my flight. L1011 from Dubai to Kiev, there's quite a few shots and you will notice some edits. That's mostly because I am off work today and I got bored. Not much commentary, hopefully the shots speak for themselves and are no too "samey" Here we are on the apron just pushed back. The temperature is 32°c the QNH is 1014 CAVOK I'm looking forward to the flight, it's about time I got my type rating up to date. At the hold for 30L, they have re-openoped this runway today due to the backlog. Lined up, waiting for the 744 to clear before we wind her u -

The good news is I have made the flight, landed literally 5 minutes ago in Kiev with the baton. It was a lovely day in Dubai, quite a lot colder in Kiev. That was a long flight 1911 nm ! Bad news is I've got 113 shots totalling 87.1Mb  So I am not sorting through them tonight! Although here's what it was like when the fog lifted! I will post the shots tomorrow so Simi I hope you are up for the next leg! btw, I wouldn't mind the Odessa scenery perhaps you mail me and we'll see how I can get a copy. Or just mail it to me if you can! Cheers -

Not only have we been delayed the arrival airport has been changed from Odessa UKOO to Kiev - Boryspil State International Airport UKBB due to lack of scenery at Odessa! Weather reports are looking good for today so let's hope we get off the ground and shots will be posted tomorrow. Cheers -
Thanks for trying Simi  Ok, I fancy some Chicken Kiev so UKBB it is then! Thanks for the link to the new scenery.

Hi John, We are really looking forward to this. Just carry on the post here, I will move it to the Real World Aviation section. ( I hope you find it!) Cheers

Could not work out how to get that download of Odessa working so it will be plain old default scenery

Here's today's headline from the Khaleej Times DUBAI/SHARJAH — Vehicular traffic in Dubai and Sharjah are badly affected this morning as a result of heavy fog that has enveloped the two cities.
