Thanks Tim! i'm currently exploring this plan G business. Looks like Aus might fast becoming my favorite place to fly
-
Thanks for everyones input.....highly valued! I have download the OZ strips and the freewares (which are mind blowing for freeware!) but how do I find a list of all the OZ strips that have been added? I'm into my heavies but might build up my GA in AUS too. Think I'll try buy a group of airports that are good for heavy hops first?! Thanks Rich

I know, the area and quality of coverage is so vast. These guys have a great system with their coverage areas and then the airports within them and then the local freeware nearby. It really allows you to build up Australia as a whole. Which airports should I go for first tho?? Rich

On a hop down from Heathrow to De Gualle and then a quick turn around for an onward hop to Geneva. Captured these images during sunset over Europe. Rich

Having recently purchased FTX Aus, thought I'd make a post of just the one shot. Very impressive stuff from these guys! The quality of their airfields is fantastic. Anyone spot my means of transport? Rich

oh no, how embarrassing I already have this, i have just been calling it the enb series tweak. Thanks for your reply, I have been using it tho, thought the plug in was something different! Rich

Hi everyone, I have been doing a lot of reading around on HDR Plug in recently. I believe, Mut you use it and also Soya has mentioned it also. Some of the reading I have been doing has been very negative, causing problems down the line after an initial install etc. What are you thoughts? And where can I get it from? Rich

Soya, can i ask what the scenery is below the A320? FTX? Rich

winglets set it off, very nice

Ok I admit it, I'm totally sold on this VFR business now. I always thought why wouldn't anyone want the roar of a jet engine and chose instead a ickle Cessna, that handles like a dream :icon_blahblah: But after properly understanding and flying VORs and flying circuits at airports even, I love it! :th_smiles73: The sense of achievement you get from doing all your own Nav and approach work is tremendous. So the question I really want to ask......whats your best Scenery/VFR prop aircraft/Time of Day/Route combination. Please name your add on if appropriate so I can read up :001_th_smil

Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to put this together. :001_th_smiles76: The information here will prove invaluable in my ambitions to fly 'the honest way'. :001_th_smiles89: If I have questions once I get chance to try some VFR flights I will post here, in the hope yourself and others can help. But in the meantime, many thanks, once again proving Muts hanger is the place to ask! Rich

Hi guys, I have reccently got really into my VFR flying and taken time out to understand VOR navigation and paterns etc. I obviously have watched several tutorials (mostly USA) and sort of understand the procdures for depatures and arrivals for coontrolled and uncontrolled airports. BUT when I look at a UK airport chart it looks so diferent I cant find the pattern altitude or if it is left or right circuit or where the arrival landmarks are (the flags etc) Are UK procedures the same? I really want to enjoy my VFR flying using honest nav instead of the FMC so any help would be appreciated. I

Thanks Joe i was impressed with the REX results after I loaded a new theme up. The Airbus X is a must for me, I love a319s and all the technology, I waited ages for its realese and never got round to it, but soon i'll get it and let you see the results and my toughts. It was horrible, the landing was quite settled but the approach......something else. rich

Hi guys, I flew a quick hop to get me back into things yesterday from Bristol to Glasgow and the arrival was bumpy to say the least. REX was working it's magic very well! So wanted to show you the results. I like to think this will be Easyjets last movement of a 737 on a domestic flight before I buy the airbus X from aerosoft, when you will then see lots of a319s in the famous orange! :001_th_smiles89: Enjoy Comments welcome and appreciated.

Hi Guys, Just returned from a holiday in Rome. The most amazing place and I was wondering if anyone had an idea where I could get hold of scenery for either of the airports and also detailed ground scenery for the city itself? Thanks for any help Rich

Hello guys, I ve been away for sometime, as I have started a new job and been very busy! After a trip to Belfast recently I have been inspired to try and get hold of a dash 8 add on, does anyone know of a good one? Thanks Rich
-
I've been away for a little bit but now i'm back and thought i'd contribute to this comp with some rare seaplane shots I have. Rich
-
yeah good point I was wondering why it's been so long since last issue. Is it overdue? This will only be my second issue you see Rich

Thanks very much guys! The Heathrow final shot is one of my favourites. But is was particularly pleased with the dirty looking UN 757 Rich

Hi everyone, Having recently moved home, I have been without Internet access for a fair old while now (feels like you've lost a limb). I return to find some great new add ons and the announcement of Microsoft starting development (or indeed well into development) of a new release. It genuinely feels like our community is buzzing again. The future is bright! I thought I'd come back online with some shots I took whilst I was back in the stone age without Internet. Enjoy!!!
