  1. One thing i'm now trying to get to the bottom of is, would the above screenshot showing the gap between aircraft be considered normal? Some are saying that this how FSX is intended to be
  2. :nea: Very nice shots there! Love that aircraft!
  3. What's causing it is when I make any tiny adjustment be it in speed or direction from the centreline the aircraft behind is told to hold position and then immediately told to continue and then immediately told to hold again....over and over again! I've listened to this on default ATC. Therefore the aircraft never gets close behind me and when I use radar contact I get clearance to line up and wait as I should and the plane behind is frozen as it should until I rotate. It's just that the continuous hold and continue hold and continue means the plane behind cant get close enough before it's
  4. Hi guys, I'm having an FSX AI problem My AI are working fine except they appear to be leaving a large gap behind me when taxing This gap is clearly too big. I thought it was a radar contact issue but it's happening with default ATC and also at default airports all over. I've posted over at world of AI to see if it's their problem but I cant put my finger on it! Is there a FSX.cfg tweak that controls this etc? Rich
  5. Thank you guys. The Viper is from flightsim.com and special mention should go to Dirk Stuck who developed the model as free-ware. Hats off to you, the model looks incredible. haha the car may have well have come straight from there yes! Number 2 has proved very popular I must say, quite enjoyed watching the inbound and outbound for a change!
  6. Thought I'd do some spotting at Geneva Making our way there Rich
  7. Parked at the end of runway 05 at Geneva for a bit of spotting......we're a bit close so might get moved on!
  8. Thanks very much everyone, glad you enjoyed these shots. I do like a quick hop in blighty from time to time  Needles - I use active sky alongside REX because I prefer the weather engine that Active Sky offers. The clouds and textures are all REX that you see in the shots....but the weather itself is created real world via the active sky weather engine. The two work perfectly together to produce some stunning looking sky. Rich
  9. Don't you just love it when REX and Active Sky co operate with one another to produce complete perfection just before the sun goes down? I was one the way up to Glasgow from Heathrow....not that it matters with a sky like that! Rich
  10. Very good Mut! This will fast become a caption contest if we're not careful In case anyone isn't following http://www.anbg.gov.au/flags/semaphore.html Rich
  11. Thanks for all the comments! It was indeed an A310 from PIA. Glad you all enjoyed the 737 despite it being a 'tubeliner' Sam allow me to pass the baton over to you for your onward journey to Iran Godspeed
  12. Onwards with the challenge For this flight from Riyadh to Dubai I wanted to use an aircraft that I think is iconic and is indeed a true workhorse of the sky. GA lovers will even admit that this mighty aircraft deserves it's place in history.....it practically gave us the package holiday and that's why I have chosen the mighty 737 to take centre stage in this leg of our journey. Boeing themselves heard of our epic journey once more and supplied the aircraft for us. With another rotation the baton is again airborne, this time riding shot gun in the iconic colours of the house livery 7
  13. Just the one of a flight from Heathrow to Glasgow in the 737. Hope you like......ATWC post imminent!
  14. Thanks very much! Just put my order in!
  15. It brings a tear to my eye lol ahhh FS9, its still installed maybe ill revisit but FSX is working a charm for me at the moment.
  16. Great shots! I will put mine up too then in that case when i get chance. Which are FS9 and which are FSX?
  17. Thanks guys! I will get onto some more. And Joe, yes I have really got the hang of it now and I think it has transformed my shots!
  18. But I have been having some Radar Contact woes which meant I couldn't get to the active runway as AI were getting stuck. However JD at radar contact solved my problem and during a successful test I'm up and running again! Then I got carried away and decided to let it all hang out and do a few low fly pasts at De Gualle airport and produced some quite nice shots. So enjoy some......different shots! Inspired by an episode of air crash investigation recently involving an Airbus A320 at an airshow. Nervous taxi checking for 'stuck' planes if anything else On with the fly pasts...
  19. Great Shot. Love the runway in the distance. This earth simulations seem to be producing some brilliant scenery just of late.
