Built by New Zealands Fletcher Aerospace, the FU-24 was designed as an Agricultural Aircraft and first flew in 1954. Although production has now ceased, many are still in service and have been rebuilt and updated over time. First build of 2017, The NSEA Protector. The iconic ship from the movie Galaxy Quest. 1/1400 scale kit by Pegasus Models. It went together easily enough, but soaked up white paint like a sponge! it's had 6 coats! The decals too were a pain in the arse, very delicate and fragile, some of the smaller ones got left off as they broke up as soon as I touched them. All in all though I'm pleased with the results.
