Takes in both your interests Dave, shame it is a helo, perhaps you could start up a flying doctor service in Oz Cheers Or I could take the pay cut and fly the B200 for the Scottish Air Ambulance. Aaah... Well done on getting your photo in the paper Dai!

I was just about to mention sun dogs Dai , formed when sunlight is refracted by tiny ice crystals in the sky. Amazing isn't it! Thanks for posting Dai, that made my night.

Congratulations Simi! :mrhappy: I am so happy for you and very impressed. Hope you really enjoy your time with the RAF, you really deserve this after the hard work you put in! All the best. Dave

Leg 108: Stockholm Bromma (ESSB) to Ivalo (EFIV)

Reef, Without a doubt the best post I have ever seen from you and definitely a show stopper even by the high standards of the ATWC. I loved the range of excellent freeware planes and scenery, coupled with the fact that the hostile terrain of Finland is interesting enough anyway! Great job! Dave  -

Hi all, I'm a little hesitant to post these shots of a Citation when 5 people have just died in a Citation (albeit a smaller one) in London. I will post them anyway, and I express my sincere condolences to the families of those killed today. --- After a rather pleasant overnight in Amsterdam we meet our Cessna Citation II on a remote business aviation stand at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport. Should be a nice classy ride for the baton carrier after the boys at BAF delivered him in what was presumably a cargo pallet  Joining the queue of planes taxiing to runway 19R and hoping we are -
Lost baggage

Hi all, After receiving the baton in such style from John we are due to get the aircraft out of maintenance sometime today. Sharon had been enjoying herself in one of Amsterdam's "coffee shops" and felt obliged to take the plane out for a spin, bless her. She should be out herself soon enough. I'll get right on this flight chaps, had a flying lesson today and so have a couple of RW-aviation things to tidy up like reading the manual for the Garmin 1000 glass cockpit avionics system  Ah, isn't technology wonderful. Cheers, Dave

Hi, Try reinstalling it and/or updating your graphics card drivers :-) Dave

Great shots Mut! I think the 737 looks really sleek without the eyebrows. The big dome on top is for WestJet's IFE TV systems I think, you can see a similar sort of thing on top of JetBlue's A320s :-) Dave

Hi Kieran, I saw and I think used to have a really good tutorial for it, I will do a quick search for you  EDIT: Here you go - a tutorial on the Spery 77 autopilot: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=77571 Hope this helps :-) Dave

It's a great package Kieran - still one of the greats! Best with the -800/900 upgrade though. To book a flight, you must be: - at the departure airport - type rated on the aircraft - have an aircraft of the type listed at the airport Then start FS and with your engines off and before pushback start the client, telling it how much fuel you want to buy. Remember that fuel might be in the plane already so you only need to buy enough to get the amount you want instead of the whole thing. Or if you have the aircraft fueled the way you want already use the Compare fuel method. Dave

  That had me in stitches Joe! Ryanair are never quite going to live down the "Ryanwhere?" headlines  Glad to see nobody was hurt though. Dave
